PENGUINS SIGN DEFENSEMAN LANE CAFFARO TO ATO

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have signed defenseman to an amateur tryout contract, it was announced on Saturday.

Caffaro, 25, recently finished his university career at Union College, posting 79 points (23+56) and 227 penalty minutes in 135 games.

The 6-1, 190 pound blueliner from Slave Lake, Alberta led Union defensemen with 22 points this past season.
